Our Story

Made for Lake Days

Dock Day Co was born on the NC/VA lakes in 2025 with one simple idea: lake days should be easy. No hauling inflatables in and out of your car. No spending an hour with a pump before anyone's in the water. No driving across town to pick up a speaker, a cornhole set, and a cooler from three different places.

We deliver everything to your dock, fully inflated and ready to use. Water toys, floating docks, sound systems, lawn games, coolers, cornhole, the whole setup — dropped, anchored, and set up before your guests arrive. At the end of your rental, we come back and collect it all. You just enjoy the water.

Every piece of gear we rent is commercial-grade, cleaned between every booking, and backed by a real person answering the phone. We're local, we're based between Lake Gaston and Kerr Lake, and we built this for the kind of dock days we'd want ourselves.

When are you delivering?

Our first delivery week is Monday, June 22, 2026. We're now booking summer weekends through Labor Day. You'll get an email confirming your exact delivery day no later than 7 days before your rental.
What if your products are delayed?

We'll know whether we can deliver in your booked window at least 7 days before your rental. If for any reason we can't, you receive a full refund — no paperwork, no hassle. We'd rather lose the booking than disappoint you on your weekend.
What's the launch promo?

What's the minimum rental period?

All rentals have a 3-day minimum. We find this gives your group enough time to really make the most of the equipment — one day is never quite enough once the trampoline is in the water.
How does the daily pricing work?

Day 1 is half-price — we're delivering, inflating, and anchoring everything that day. Days 2 & 3 are full rate — your party days. From Day 4 onward, every day is half-price — the longer you keep it, the better the value. As an example, a product priced at $100/day works out to $250 for a 3-day rental, $300 for 4 days, and $450 for a full week.
Do I need to be home for delivery?

Nope. We'll coordinate a drop-off window with you and leave everything at your dock or agreed location. We'll send you a photo confirmation when it's all set up and ready.
How does the damage deposit work?

We take a $200–$300 hold on your credit card at booking. We inspect everything on return, and if it's all in good shape — which it almost always is — we release the hold within 48 hours. Normal wear is expected and covered.
What if the weather is bad?

We monitor the weather closely. If conditions are genuinely unsafe, we'll work with you to reschedule within the same season at no penalty. Cancel with 48 hours notice for a full refund.
Do you need to anchor the Aqua Trampoline?

Yes — we include an anchor kit with every Aqua Trampoline rental — 4-point mushroom anchor system, full inflation, everything. It's fixed at least 30 feet from your dock. It won't drift.
Can I rent just a speaker or games without water toys?

Absolutely. Every item in our catalogue is available individually. You don't have to take the full package. Mix and match whatever works for your group.
How far in advance should I book?

All bookings are first-come, first-served, so we recommend booking as early as you can. Peak weekends — 4th of July, Labor Day, and summer Saturdays — book up fastest. The minimum lead time on any new booking is 48 hours so we can prep and deliver.
What happens if I pay upfront and then need to cancel?

Cancel 48+ hours before delivery: full refund, no questions asked. Your card will be refunded the rental cost in full and the damage deposit hold released; the refund typically posts within 5–10 business days depending on your bank. Cancel inside the 48-hour window: we'll work with you case-by-case — weather, illness, family emergencies, and similar real-life things, we're flexible. We'd rather reschedule you for another date in the same season than keep money you didn't end up using.
